Successful applicants are team-oriented self-starters who play well with others, use their words, and take pride in their work no matter how small the task.
Routine duties of our Barn Staff:
-
Handling our horses (haltering, walking in/out to pastures, blanketing, etc.)
-
Feeding, watering, and giving medications
-
Cleaning stalls, scrubbing water tanks, & other barn maintenance tasks
-
Groundskeeping (mowing, weed-whacking, dragging arena, etc.)
-
Barn improvement projects (carpentry, plumbing, painting, fencing etc.)
We operate 7 days a week, 365 days per year, rain or shine, heat or cold. Part-time and full-time positions may be available, depending on current staffing needs. Wages vary based on the applicant's experience, availability, and skillset. Boarding may be negotiated as part of a compensation package for the right candidate/horse combination.
Applicants may not be contacted until we are actively seeking staff members.
We do not offer any volunteer, "work to ride", or internship opportunities at this time.
