Topsider Farm, established in 1991, is an equestrian facility located in College Station, Texas. We are a proudly "Aggie-Owned & Operated" business - whoop!
We pride ourselves on maintaining healthy, happy horses and a positive riding atmosphere. For nearly thirty years, we have been home to horses and riders of many ages, disciplines, and skill levels in the Brazos Valley. From the enhanced footing in our covered arena to the customized feeding plans, everything about our facility is designed with our horse's safety and comfort in mind.
Our Team
K. McKenzie Mull
Owner & Manager
McKenzie grew up on a horse breeding farm in Kansas and competed in various english disciplines. She earned her undergraduate degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences and Certificate in Equine Management from Texas A&M University before completing her Master's of Science in Business at Mays Business School. She started working and boarding her horses, Dooney and Oliver, at Topsider during college and purchased the property in 2019.
Michele Voorhees
Founder & Riding Instructor
Michele Voorhees is a USDF certified dressage instructor/trainer with 30+ years of professional equine experience. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Equine Studies with education emphasizing teaching, training, and management. Read more about her accomplishments...or schedule a lesson!
Capri
Operations Manager & Pest Control Officer
Capri is an integral part of our management team, using her street smarts to keep our barn pest population low. Although formerly feral, she enjoys optimizing barn operations by boosting employee and client morale. She earned the title "Dutchess of Aggieland" in Aggieland Humane Society's 2022 Purrfect Pagent for her philanthropic efforts benefitting local homeless cats.
Courtney Danmier
Assistant Manager
Courtney has been riding and caring for horses for 13 years; her passion for horses has never stopped growing. She has had her own horses since middle school and was always responsible for their care. She spent as many hours at barns learning as much as she could and has loved every second of it! She intends to make a career out of her passion for these incredible animals as she is always learning new things about them and how to provide them the best care possible.
Our Part-Time Staff
Barn Staff & Maintenance
We aim to staff our barn with bright, motivated, hardworking individuals. Prior experience with horses and/or farm operations is preferred, and a strong work ethic and an open mind are required. Successful applicants are generally team-oriented self-starters who play well with others, use their words, and take pride in their work, no matter how small the task.
