About Topsider Farm
Topsider Farm is a privately owned 18-acre equestrian facility located in College Station, Texas. It was established in 1991 by USDF Certified dressage instructor Michele Voorhees as her training facility. Under her leadership, Topsider Farm quickly built and maintained its reputation as one of the premier barns in the area for boarding, lessons, and shows.

McKenzie Mull, a client and friend of Michele's, purchased the property in 2019, managing it as a boarding facility until turning it private in the spring of 2024. Since then, McKenzie and her partner George have transformed the property into their homestead and apiary.​
The Cottage
Our cozy guest cottage is available for short-term guests. It is nestled between the main barn and our turnout paddocks, providing a scenic view of our horses. Whether you're in town for game day or just visiting the area, it is the perfect retreat!

Riding Instruction
We are proud to host our founder, Michele Voorhees, a USDF-Certified dressage instructor. She has 40+ years of professional equine experience teaching different age groups and experience levels. Michele has a Bachelor's degree in Equine Studies with education emphasizing teaching, training, and management.
Her students have been successful from Training Level to F.E.I. when competing at schooling shows, Regional Finals, and even North American Young Rider Championships. Michele served as Chef de' Equipe for the USDF Region 9 Young Rider Dressage Team as well as the Region 9 JR/YR Coordinator for several years. She was honored to receive the USDF Region 9 Horseperson of the Year Award in 2004.
​At this time, Michele is only offering trailer-in lessons by appointment only (current negative Coggins required). No lesson horses are available.
